Dr. Alban Merepeza B.A., (Hons)., DC MSc.

Dr. Alban Merepeza is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he finished with distinct clinical excellence. Prior to enrolling at CMCC for his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree, he obtained an Honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology from Trent University that he also finished with academic distinction.
Upon graduation from CMCC, Dr. Merepeza completed The International Chiropractic Sports Sciences Program and has since worked with many athletes at local, national and international level.In 2016, Dr. Merepeza finished a Masters of Science degree at McMaster University in Rehabilitation Sciences Program.
Dr. Merepeza, has attended eight Olympic Games: Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010, London 2012, Sochi 2014, Rio 2016, Pyeongchang 2018, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024. He has attended, UEFA, EURO 2016 and Euro 2024 Germany Championships, FIFA, Qatar 2022 World Cup, Mediterranean Games, Pan Am Games, World Championships of Track and Field, Swimming, Weightlifting, Skiing to name a few, at the capacity of a Team Chiropractor as well as personal Chiropractor.
Dr. Merepeza has a strong professional interest in sport injuries and rehabilitation as well as research in this area. He strongly believes and practices evidence-based chiropractic care and to achieve that, he is truly committed to a multi-disciplinary clinical setting, which fosters intra and inter- professional collaboration to ensure the best care for his patients.
Over the past twenty years, Dr. Merepeza has worked with a variety of Canadian and International Elite athletes, Canada, USA, Italy, Switzerland, France, Great Britain. Albania and many Caribbean countries such as Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica, in wide range of sports with a focus in Soccer, Swimming, Tennis and in particular Athletics.
Dr. Merepeza is considered an expert in sprint biomechanics and has, and continues to, work with some of the all-time best sprinters in the world. His expertise lies in preventing injuries in sprints by perfecting biomechanics, which inevitably also improves performance! His first research publication was accepted by the Journal of Canadian Chiropractic Association on December 2014 and can be found on PUMED.
