Nicole Igel

Nicole is committed to empowering her clients and working with them to find the necessary tools to manage symptoms and meet their goals.

Nicole is an Orthopaedic and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist who is passionate about working with individuals in all stages of life and activity levels. She strives to provide current, comprehensive and evidence-based care utilizing tailored exercises, education, lifestyle modification, acupuncture, and manual (hands-on) therapy.

After graduating from Queen’s University in 1995 with degrees in both Life Sciences and Physiotherapy, Nicole worked in orthopaedics with professional, amateur, and recreational athletes. In 2001, she completed her Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, the highest designation available to Canadian Physiotherapists practicing in orthopaedics. She also holds a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture certificate from McMaster University. Nicole is dedicated to life-long learning and since 2015 has attended multiple courses and conferences in persistent pain and pelvic health.

When not working in the clinic, Nicole enjoys staying active and trying new things (variety is the spice of life!) with her husband and 3 daughters. She can also be found downhill skiing, biking, gardening, cooking, and snuggling with the dog.

She looks forward to working with you
