Once again we were asked to provide medical services for OFSAA Rugby 2012 championship that took place in Cobourg ON June 7th, 8th and 9th 2012. Dr. Merepeza organized the Medical Team that included four Sport Chiropractors, one Physiotherapist, two Kinesiologists, two Massage Therapists and a Naturopath. From our Clinic there was Dr. Merepeza, Dr. Fritsch, RMT Elizabeth Williams, Brandon Jielson (our McMaster University Kinesiology Intern) and Tyler Allen (Guelph Universtity Kinesiologist Intern).
The event was busy with injuries as can be expected with a sport such as rugby. We were proud to be part of this event that was organized very well by St. Mary’s Secondary School and had teams competing from all over Ontario. Thanks to all the team members who did an outstanding job and received praises from organizers, coaching staff and players.

The event was very exciting in many levels and very busy. Over 900 wrestlers from all over Ontario competed in over 1500 matches. For Northumberland United Way
Our Team was asked by the Northumberland United Way to take part in this event to provide our services. Again we were privileged to participate and be apart of another exciting event benefiting our community. With over 33 teams taking part, Elizabeth Williams RMT and Dr. Alban Merepeza D.C. had a busy day treating these enthusiastic paddlers. This event is Northumberland United Way’s biggest fundraiser and this year raised approximately $44,000.
On September 17, 2011, Elizabeth Williams RMT, Dr. Stacey Fritch N.D. and Dr. Alban Merepeza D.C. provided medical services at the beautiful Ganaraska Forest for this amazing Mountain Bike event. In this event raising money for the Canadian Mental Health Association in Peterborough, participants took part in 15km, 30km, 60km, and 100km rides. Many were happy to see our sports team before and after their rides, especially those returning from the 100km ride defined as a tough Pro/Elite level course.
On August 12, 2011 our Sports team consisting of Elizabeth Williams RMT, Petra Breham RMT and Dr. Alban Merepeza D.C. were invited to provide medical services at the YMCA Strong Kids Duathlon.
